Our review:
The movie Mirrors was a pretty good movie. It is a very interesting plot to it,i however it was shot kinda like the movie "The Grudge" The reason why we say that is it was shot kinda in dark settings and the creatures looked just like something from the Grudge. But as for the movie standards it was pretty Gory their was a lot of blood and gore in it. But the one thing that was bad in it was the dialog in it. The dialog kinda Sucked in it but that dose not make the movie bad. Now their were some good actors in it like Kiefer Sutherland who played a really good roll in the movie. Mirrors was directed by the famous Alexandre Aja who directed the movie "Hills Have Eyes." Which I think Hills have Eyes is a little better then Mirrors but really their is no big difference in quality. Mirrors is not as gory has hills have eyes but at least Mirrors is not a remake.

Our review:
Saw 5 is one of the best films in the Saw series. It is not as good as the first one, but better then the other ones. It was pretty gory, but most Saw films are pretty gory. However this one was kinda like the 4th one on the gore level. Now if you have never seen a Saw film I would not advise you to start at the 5th one because you would be confused. So start at the 1st and then make your away to the 5th. Saw 5 was pretty hard to follow a little because it jumps back in forth a lot of times, but you can still figure it out. Saw 5 is not a considered a movie that would make you jump out of your seat, but it kinda puts you on the edge on your seat! Also its pretty graphic even for Saw standards. However the best part is the ending of the whole entire movie. The ending is real shocker. However you are going to haft to watch it to find out!

Our review:
The Mist is one of the best movies that was a Stephen King book or novella. It as a very strange plot, but almost all Stephen King plots are pretty strange. The Mist had some pretty good effects in it. Also, it is the kind of movie that will make you jump a couple of times! A lot of things jump out at you during the film. If you did read the book there are some differences from the movie and the book, but almost all books that are turned into movies have some differences. Some parts of the movie have some funny scenes. The Mist is kinda graphic, there is not a lot of blood or anything, but kinda just graphic in the way that it would make someone squirm if you don't watch a lot of graphic movies! There were some good actors like Thomas Jane who played a great role in the film, and Marry Gay Harden who plays a rather interesting role in the movie. The thing I would like to warn you about is the ending, if you do not like really horrible endings I would not advise you to watch this film. Now the ending is so shocking, and horrible that when I watched the movie in theaters it made some people cry or made them horrified. But that is a Stephen King novel for you! But I think The Mist is a really good film to watch at home!

Our review:
The Strangers was a pretty good movie. It wasn't as hyped up as I thought it would be I thought it would be a little bit better then it actually was. The Strangers was a good suspense movie to watch, it would keep you on the edge of you seat in some parts. It's kinda like a classic slasher film, but the only problem was that there were only two people in the whole movie that are getting chased, but there is a reason for that though. The reason is The Strangers is based on true events so to keep the story true they only kept two people in it. So since its a true story it kinda makes the suspense up! But the Strangers was not the most goriest film I've seen, but that is kinda good because its more of a suspense slasher movie then a bloody slasher movie. The Strangers was actress Liv Tyler's first ever horror film and she did a pretty good job in it as well. If you do not know who Liv Tyler is, she is the daughter of Stephen Tyler, who is the lead singer of the band Aerosmith. Anyways, the Strangers could have made some scenes a little more scarier, so that is the only thing that did not impress me, but it is a good movie to watch if you want to sit on the edge of your seat.

When I seen the first Alone in the Dark, I was not to impressed with it. So when the second one came out I had to see if the second one was going to be any good. Alone in the Dark 2 was pretty much the same as the first. There is really no change in the plot or anything, but I seemed to get really bored at the beginning of it. There is a lot of talking and really no action is going on accept at the very beginning. The plot of the movie is kinda strange, it's not what you think it's about if you read the title of it. The movie is about a witch killing people. Alone in the Dark is not scary at all, it kinda just keeps you on the edge. But it's not going to make you jump out of your seat or anything like that. Alone in the dark is pretty boring to the end so if you do watch this film watch it to the end because it dose get pretty good at the ending. Now as I was saying before the plot is about a witch. So you got to give the movie credit because it's a pretty original plot idea. The best part of the whole entire movie is the ending which was a pretty good ending. So your going to have to watch it to find out.

Quarantine is almost just like the movie Cloverfield which came out in the winter of last year. Just like Cloverfield, Quarantine is filmed by a hand held camera to give you that real effect. Quarantine kinda makes it like the movie is actually true. The movie is about a building that firefighters try to help some people that are in need of help. But they soon find out that there is a mass of effected people in there so the government quarantines them. So they have to make it out alive. It's kinda a zombie movie, but they try to make it like its real. Now the camera can tend to be a little shaky at times. so if you get motion sickness from that don't watch the movie. But anyways Quarantine is pretty gory. It has some real good scenes in it and some bad. It also has some scary parts in it too. I jumped once or twice in it. Now I think Quarantine is better then Cloverfield because the movie kinda explains whats going on. As for Cloverfield it kinda just put you right in the middle of things. The one bad thing about this movie is that is too damn dark! Their was some parts I could not see a single thing. But other then that it was a good movie!

When I herd Rob Zombie was going to remake the old horror classic of Halloween, I was so exited for it to come out, and I was excited for a good reason. Rob Zombie's Halloween is one of the best horror movie remakes I have ever seen. It's not just a remake, as he adds his own kinda plot to it too. Halloween tells the beginning story of Micheal Myers. It explains how he became the crazy murderer. Now Halloween, was a pretty gory movie when it came out in the 70's, but this version is a lot more gorier. But a little gore is good. Halloween is Rob Zombies best film by far because he takes Halloweenand makes it for audience to figure the real story. Now I got to warn you there is a lot of swearing in it and their is some nudity. So I would not advise any children to see it. Now Halloween is a great on the scares level. I seen it in theaters and it seemed like everyone was jumping throughout the film, and I will admit that I jumped a couple of times. Halloween kinda stays with the original one with the scenes . Now Zombies version is not as good as the original version, but it's still a really good film to watch and I highly recommend it.

The Hills Have Eyes 2 was a pretty decent film that came out in 2007. It was not as good as the first one that came out in 2006, which was a remake from the first Hills Have Eyes which came out in 1977 and in my books is one of the best horror movie classics that ever came out. However the second Hills Have Eyes was not as good as the first horror remake. It really was kinda dull, as there was no real plot change, just different characters. Now the monsters in it looked the same as the first one. They looked sick, and they looked 10 times better then the first original one. But it does have some pretty scary parts in it, and there are some pretty creepy parts in it as well. But I believe there was not as much gory scenes in the second one as in the first one. However, it was a pretty good film, but I really like the first one more then the second one. However, were both very good movies to watch!

When White Noise came out I did not think it would be as good as it actually was! White Noise was one of my favorite horror movies in 2005, and I still like watching it whenever I can. It's a very chilling movie to see. White Noise is about the dead trying to reach the main actor, Micheal Keaton through static through the Television set and radio. Which I think is one of the best ideas for a film, and very original! Also, I think this is Micheal Keaton's best movie. He is a good actor and he shows it in White Noise. I think White Noise is a good movie to take to freak people out. It kinda freaked me out cause it is actually true that some spirits can reach people trough the static in the radio. If you watch any ghost hunters show it is actually true. Which is a good thing to remember if your watching White Noise.

"The Village" was one of the best movies I have seen by M.Night Shyamalan, next to the Sixth Sense. But anyways, The Village was pretty boring at the start of the movie, but gets better as it goes. Now I wish it was more scary then it actually is. It has it's good parts and bad parts. However, the bad parts kinda take over the movie. But if you if you stick with the movie it will get pretty good. Now I am a big M.Night Shyamalan fan, so when the movie came out I had to see it. Now the best part of the whole movie is the surprise ending. Which to me or any one who likes endings that just slap you across the face it was pretty good. I think it could have been a lot better, but it what are you going to do? The Village is a lot better then The Happening which has to be the most stupidest movie I have ever seen! But i just wish there were more scary parts in it.

But a good movie to watch if you want to see the ending!

Now I was pretty surprised how Friday the 13th turned out. It was a pretty good film, for a remake. In this remake they put all the movies together into one. So it shows how Jason got his famous hockey mask, and a lot more things that you will find out when you watch the movie. Now this remake was one of the better remakes I have seen because they did not add to much shit that makes it really stupid like some remakes I have seen. Now the beginning is really cool, as it gets you interested right from the start, which is really good. The only thing that was bad about it is the dialogue in it, which really sucked. It was very cheesy, but that is a slasher film for you! But it was really gory, but it's a Jason film so you kinda suspect that. But all in all it was pretty good.

30 Days of Night was not as good as I thought it would be. To me it was extremely overrated. It got to much credit then it actually deserved. But before I go in depth on the review let me tell you what the movie is actually about. 30 Days of Night is about the small town of Barrow, Alaska. In which the town is preparing for 30 Days of night where they don't see sun for 30 days. But duringthis time, the vampires come to feed.

Being that I am not the biggest vampire movies fan I still watched it. Now the plot of the movie was really good. Also the movie being in Alaska I thought that was very creative. Now it was not a typical Vampire Movie. It was a lot more gorier and the actual vampires looked way different then you would think a vampire would look like. They looked bad ass to me. But the thing I did not like was that it was kinda of annoying when you ever see the vampire it would scream and to me the scream was very annoying. Also another thing was it kinda bored me at some parts. But it was way too overrated their is a lot more better movies out there.

The Devil Rejects was one of a kind. It was very funny at times and it had it's share of graphic scenes in it as well. Now it was just like any Rob Zombie film as there was a lot of swearing, nudity, and language. But that does not ruin the film. This movie was kinda just like Rob Zombie's first movie, "House of 1000 Corpses" but it was more like the movie actually happened. That's why I like this film because it was something you would see in the news. Another good thing about, "The Devil Rejects" was that the actors were so crazy in it. They brought chills to me because they just acted like real sick killers. There was a lot of good scenes in it. There were no bad scenes in the whole movie. I enjoyed every bit of The Devil Rejects and I hope you will too.

1408 is one of my favorite Stephen King movies. It was just a crazy story with a lot of really creepy parts! 1408 kinda of makes you feel like you are the one who is really trapped in the Haunted Hotel Room. Now it is one of the only Stephen King books or short stories that is mainly about ghosts. However, the movie and the book make it more than a visit to a haunted hotel go wrong, but make it where it messes with your head. Now some might not agree with me but I think it is one of his best stories he has written. He did not go into detail like most of the stories he has written in the past. So make sure if you are into Stephen Kings books or like to read make sure you check that book out! Anyways this movie is a great film and I loved watching it. I wish all of his movies were this good!

Before I went to see Orphan, I heard a lot of bad reviews for it. So when I finally went to see it I was very surprised how good it was! Orphan was a very creepy, and it had a lot of parts that were really creepy. Now the beginning was pretty slow, and kind of boring. But it gets really good as the movie goes on. The little girl who stars in it was very good. The things this little girl does throughout the movie were very creepy. Now Orphan was not a movie to make you jump out of your seat. Actually there was no part in the movie that makes you jump, which to me they could have added some scary parts. But other then that I really liked the movie. It's also not gory, but let me tell you it does not haft to be gory to make it good. I can't give anything away about the ending of Orphan, but I will say it was really weird, but it was good. But that is me, some say its stupid. So you will haft to go and see it for your self. All in All I thought Orphan was a very good movie!

Halloween 2 did not make it in the number one spot this weekend in the box office, which is pretty hard to imagine. Halloween 2 to me is one of the best horror movies of the year so far. It was as good as the first Halloween! Rob Zombie did a great job with this film, as he made it where it kind of follows the original, but then he added is own stuff to it which makes it nice. Now this movie gets going right from the very start of it. I think Halloween 2 was a lot, I mean a lot gorier than the first Halloween! It is also a lot scarier then the first one, too. There were some scenes in the movie that made me jump. There are parts where you know something is going to happen, but it still gets you! Now there are some parts that Ii did not like about it. I think Dr. Loomis should have had a better role than what he did in the movie. In the Original Halloween he had a huge part in it, but in this one he did not have a huge part! Another part is I thought there should have been more flash backs from when Micheal was a kid like they did in the first one. There was like only one or two in there. But other than that, I thought it was a great film to see. If you liked the original Halloween you would like Halloween 2. I wish more remakes were this good, for example Friday the 13th! Now I think they should stop right now with the movies because I don't think they would be as good if you keep making more of them!

Now when this movie came out I didn't know what to think about it, because it really didn't catch my eye. Now, when I finally did see it I wasn't shocked that it wasn't scary. This movie had some great scenes in it, but to me I wasn't jumping out of my seat like the previews showed. The only good thing about the whole movie is the ending. But if watched the preview for it you pretty much knew that was going to happen. I'm not going to lie, Paranormal Activity is pretty creepy at some parts in the film. But it is not going to make you never sleep with the lights off again. But I will say it makes you wonder if that can actually happen. One thing I really like about the film is that they make it so real. It is entirely shot on a home video camera which makes it seem more creepy. But to me I think it is worth giving it a try to see what you might think about it. If you are thinking you are going to get scared to death then you are wrong. But it is a pretty cool movie to see even if you don't get scared to death.

Now let me ask you a question, did you think Saw ended last year? Well let me tell you what, I don't think Saw will ever end. Here we are for the 6th time reviewing another Saw movie. Now I was pretty surprised how good it was. It kept the same gore like all the previous Saw films, but I think this one was the best on the gore level. Saw 6 had a pretty good plot to it. You would think after 5 films they would run out of ideas for a plot, but every film is different which is what I really liked about it. This Saw had some great gore scenes in it to make you turn in your seat. One of things I didn't like is it was kinda hard to follow I was a little confused at some parts. Plus I hated the ending. Well I am not going to give anything away, but there is more than likely going to be another Saw in the series. But that is all I don't like about it. But I pretty much think that everyone who is into the Saw series like me, and a lot of people are then saying that Saw 6 is worth taking a try to see if you like it.

Now when I first went to see this movie I had mix feelings on how good this movie was going to be. But I was pretty surprised on how good this film was. Now if you don't know what this movie is about, here is a little description. The Fourth Kind is about disappearances believed to be from the Fourth Kind or aliens. Now it is supposed to be on actual cases that happened in Gnome,Alaska.

Like I said, this movie was pretty good at times, and at other times it was really, I mean really dull. Some scenes were almost putting me to sleep. But then again there were some scenes that were really good. Now if you don't really believe in alien abductions then you might not like this film. But I got to admit that some of the scenes where it's on a home video camera are really good, almost like chilling like at some points in the film. One of the things I liked about "The Fourth Kind" is the actors, as every single one of them played a good role in the film. But the dullness of the film was horrible, as there was no spark in it like a lot of movies have. Like I said, the home videos were really good, but other than that, I was pretty much falling asleep through the film. I know that is pretty harsh to say, but it wasn't that exciting to keep you on the edge. But if you like chilling movies this movie is one of them... If you can stay awake

You have probably heard a lot about The Happening, probably a lot of bad things right? Well, they are right. This movie sucked really bad. Now, usually I am not a big critic on movies. I like a lot of movies that a lot of people like. But this movie was horrible. The plot was pretty good, I mean there is no movie out there with a plot like that. But then once you find out what is causing all the the people to kill themselves then it turns really stupid! Now I do not want to give out the spoiler for the movie, but it is really dumb. Also its really dull. Once you get past the first 30 minutes you have a hard time staying awake. Also the actors suck as they are dull as well. Now the scenes were people kill themselves are pretty good and they are creative. But other than that this movie was just plain WEIRD. So if you like a lot of weird scenes then this movie might be for you. But I talked to a lot of people that usually like those kind of movies, and they said once they found out why people are killing themselves, they started to hate it as well. So I think you should check it out if you get a chance to, but don't go rushing to buy it or rent it.

District 9 was a kick ass movie. It is one of my favorite films of 2009! It was like no other movie you will ever see this year, or in your entire life! Now this movie is a little slow at the beginning, but once the action starts it gets better, and better. One of the things I really enjoyed was how graphic the aliens look. They looked so life like. Now, if you never heard of this movie this summer, well I guess you don't own a television at all, because this movie was very well advertised. Now, if you are not into the SciFi type of movies you will probably not enjoy this movie. But I am not the biggest Scifi fan ether, and I loved this movie, but it all depends on your liking. District 9 has a lot of high action type of scenes that keep you sitting on the edge of your seats from the beginning to the end. But for me it was kinda hard to follow at times, but it has a pretty easy plot, so if you do get confused you can still follow the movie. District 9 is one of my favorite Scifi movies I have ever seen, and I think director Peter Jackson did a hell of a job directing it. Definetally one of his best films according to me. So if you want a movie that will make you sit on the edge of your seat then go see and buy District 9!

Well most of you know that this movie was a remake from the 80's slasher film which was a good movie. Now I know, here we go with another horrible remake. But to me I thought this was actually a decent film. Now you can't beat the original, but this move does do a good job to make it compare to the original. That is actually one of the reason why I like this film, because it really didn't change anything. They kept to the same plot, and didn't add anything else to it like you see in a lot of remakes now a day. But I do got some bad things to say about this film. It is very dull. It is really boring almost, all the way to the very end when it finally gets exciting. Which to me is kinda of dumb if you are going to have a movie at least make it kinda exciting through out the entire film, not just one part of the film. Another thing I disliked about The Stepfather is that there was no music in the whole entire film and to me music is a key to a good movie. Music can set the mood in the movie and this movie was missing it. But other than that I enjoyed watching this film. It stuck to the original and made it a lot better. So if you liked the original I pretty much think you will like this move as well. It is well worth the watch!

Our review:
Well I had a lot of mix feelings when I went to see this film. I heard good reviews, and very bad reviews. I, myself thought this movie sucked when I first started watching it. I thought it was very boring but once you sit for a good hour or so, it got pretty interesting. It really starts to turn creepy when the possession starts to take place.

Now one thing I really liked about it, was that it shot on a home camera, so it felt real, and there wasn't a lot of big graphics. Like some exorcism movies, they kind of made it real, like this can actually happen. I also think the girl was great, she really made fit the character. It did have some corny scenes, but then it had some good scenes. But the ending was really what made me kind of dislike the movie. It was very odd, and it wasn't a surprising ending, but rather a "WTF" just happened, kind of like The Blair Witch Project, and it's over with so you are kind of in the blank, so I thought it was kind of dumb, and not really thought about when they made it.
